GAO to Host Live Chat re: BOP Overcrowding Report

As noted in a couple of recent posts, last week the General Accounting Office (GAO) issued a report concerning federal prison overcrowding and its impact. Now comes word that GAO Director Maurer will participate in a streaming video conference regarding the report:

On September 12, 2012, GAO issued its latest prison report, entitled: Bureau of PrisonS: Growing Inmate Crowding Negatively Affects Inmates, Staff, and Infrastructure, GAO-12-743.
On October 3, 2012, GAO Director Dave Maurer will respond to questions about this report in real time, via streaming video. This session is part of GAO’s new AskGAOLive series.
