The Berlin Daily Sun reportsthat the Bureau of Prisons is offering tours of FCI Berlin-Medium, on Friday, September 21:

The tours will be held between noon and 6 p.m. People over 18 years of age, who want to tour the facility should arrive between 11:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. No cameras, cell phones, or electronic devices are permitted inside the prison.

Although the Berlin minimum-security camp recently began accepting prisoners, the FCI is not scheduled to go online until next year.

From the Boston Globe comes confirmation that the Federal Prison Camp in Berlin, New Hampshire has begun accepting prisoners:

New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen says a new federal prison in New Hampshire is expected to be housing inmates.
Shaheen congratulated the staff at the Berlin prison on Thursday as she said they started minimum security operations.
